Hiking on the bärentrail
Our tip: Combine your visit to the BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach with a hiking trip!
The BÄRENWALD Arbesbach is the perfect starting point for a hike on the Bärentrail (bear trail) - a trekking path that leads through a primeval Austrian nature and a unique cultural landscape. Depending on the route chosen, the Bärentrail is up to 107 km long over several daily stages.
For those who want to take it a little easier, or who want to explore waterfalls, boulders and castle ruins with the whole family, there are six 1-2 and a half teddy bear trails.
Detailed route descriptions as well as options for board and lodging can be found here on the Bärentrail website (in German).
